GOP suing to keep third party candidates off Presidential ballot

Ross Perot probably elected Bill Clinton. Ralph Nader made it possible for Katherine Harris to steal the election for George W Bush. George Wallace turned a Richard Nixon landslide into a squeaker.

Virginia is one of several "must-have" states for Romney if he has any chance to win this election. (Others are Ohio, Florida & North Carolina. If he loses any one of those four he can't win....and he could win all four and still lose.) If Goode is on the ballot in Virginia and can get 3% of the vote, Romney has no chance in Virginia. (He probably can't win Virginia even without Goode on the ballot, but he has absolutely no chance with him on the ballot.)

I agree with your second paragraph. Perot definitely elected Clinton. Disagree with Nader statement and Nixon was before my time.

Without Nader, Gore is president by wining Florida. Actually, without ballot confusion leading to roughly 3-5 thousand miscast votes for Buchanan in FL, Gore is president. Crazy.
