Our choices suck. Dalton seems, um, "simple" and McCrory comes off like a used car salesman. I guess they're both an upgrade from Beverly, but geesh...

After the bang up job by the last 2 governors, I'll roll the dice on McCrory

He comes off dirtier than a porn star's ass. NTTAWWT - if he can clean up Rawley I'm willing to look the other way.

Yeah I'm not crazy about him for sure and I think his platform is really vague, but we need some fresh faces in Raleigh asap

He totes dodged that personal tax rate question; motherfucker probs pays like 8%

Are the candidates that weak in NC that they had to have a debate on the same night as the presidential debate?

He got the infrastructure/roads question right.

I checked out - what did he say? Are they going to build this fucking loop around Gboro sometime before I retire?
He said that the funding was too politicized/old network and not allocated to the projects that really need it.

Oh I'm sure that'll change under his watch. Graft is the oldest fucking game in politics...

A buddy of mine writes for a local paper in my hometown, and he had a chance to interview McCrory. He held up his promise to me, and asked him about rogue helicopter pilots.

He laughed about it, and was a pretty down to earth guy IRL.

I think McCrory is the right vote here. I don't like either of them but the Dems have had their chance.

Both are horrible.

McCrory believes there is enough natural gas in NC to power the whole economy despite science saying otherwise. He also lacks understanding on education. His plans are vague.

Dalton is "simple" as others have said. He doesn't give a good leader vibe. NC Democrat.

If the General Assembly is to remain as conservative as it is now, we need the governor to be a Democrat to keep them in check. If the GA can change, then McCrory wouldn't be as bad.

I might write in bobknightfan for this race. I can't stand either of these clowns.
