With considerable corporate finance experience. A lot of people have a serious misconception about what BOD members do.
 
In many cases, BOD members are politicians or people the company wants to promote on their website or in other materials. It's often more ceremonial that operational.

Here is the definition of corruption:

dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery.

so the term "legal corruption" doesn't really mean anything unless one wants to create a new oxymoron.

Was Hunter Biden taking this position somehow hidden from the public? Then it isn't really dishonest either.

Many people have made a big deal that Hunter Biden didn't have specific experience in natural gas or in Ukrainian regulatory law. You can pretty much look at any BOD of any company in the US and there are members that don't have specific industry experience and this is done on purpose as you don't want your entire BOD to be insiders. Biden certainly had enough business experience to fulfill that role.

So at the end of the day, it's just a perception issue. Now this might be relevant if it was directly related to some fiduciary work that Hunter Biden was doing as a lawyer or CPA, but otherwise it doesn't really matter. I have no doubt that Burisma wanted his name on that board, just like many US and foreign companies want prominent names that could often provide real or perceived influence in their boards as well, but there is nothing corrupt about that.

If Donald Trump had a career operating above board and his son was in a similar position, then this would also rate a giant meh with me. As a matter of fact, I have made little mention of Trump's children's international business affairs except how it relates to the fact that they are all acting like unpaid executive advisors and representatives of the US government and to point out the blatant hypocrisy of Trump having issues in this regard with a political rival.

But back to Donald Trump, it is obvious that he hasn't spent his career above board.

Trump Foundation: Using donations for personal benefit. Fraudulent dishonest corrupt.
Trump University: Marketing a fraudulent course of learning to profit: Fraudulent dishonest corrupt.
Numerous unpaid bills: Having people provide services and then strong-arming them for non-payment: Fraudulent dishonest corrupt.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg to his corruption and dishonesty.

So actually the person who this is not showing a good look on and is exhibiting themselves to be a partisan hack is you, because you are falling over yourself trying to defend the republican establishment as they have fallen in line in cheerleader mode around Donald Trump while trying to act like an ethical purist when it comes to anything related to the Democratic party.

He said it was a mistake for the exact reasons I pointed out in the thread. It creates a perception problem for his father running for President. Not because he did anything wrong. To me that's a big meh. If it was Donald Trump Jr under the same circumstances, it would be a big meh too.

Hunter Biden is a private citizen. He isn't running for office. If you are a capitalist, then you realize that people use their names/reputations to financially profit off of them.

So this isn't illegal, nor should it be illegal. So then it is really just political "virtue signalling" which is funny coming from the current cesspool of Republican politics.

Hunter Biden did nothing illegal and shouldn't be used to deflect from the continuum of immoral and illegal acts by Donald Trump and his cabal. That's all Hunter Biden is. He is a ball fake or a head fake on the bball court. If you don't fall for it, you can still play the game.

Junebug and Republicans are using Hunter Biden as a smoke screen to cover up for their words and/or actions.
