A school walkout is a fantastic idea and something I fully support. Teachers and school administrators (in most areas) will be on board as well.
Kids at a high school in Mass walked out en masse this past Friday. Instead of going home or to the woods to smoke pot, they congregated in a public location and discussed ways to solve our gun violence epidemic.
This is how you protest in a powerful and productive manner. Whoever is organizing the 4/20 walkout should get in touch with the kids in Andover, MA.
And I think the concerns about walking out on 4/20 are overblown. I think it would be a powerful message to hold the walkout on the anniversary of the Columbine massacre - the unofficial beginning of this sad sad chapter in our country's history. Just need to convince the stoners to hold off until later that night.
Watching these kids fight back along with seeing millennials leave the Republican Party in droves gives me faith our country will be okay.

I think conservatives will largely dismiss a walk out on the anniversary of Columbine as lazy weed smokers who want Democrats to take their guns.
I have to say I’m more worried about large gatherings of kids announced ahead of time, you know, because of all the assault rifles out there in the hands of angry white males.
Fine, fuck the gun-slobbering conservatives.
More importantly there should be voter registration at all the protests, and information about which politicians are owned by the gun lobby.
Hell, they should all smoke some weed and turn up Dylan and Buffalo Springfield and Rage Against the Machine and Public Enemy and any other protest music they have. This is their country in a few short years, they need to take the power back, to hell with the weed-hating sphincter-clenched old guard.
The LGBT kids should make out in the front of all the TV cameras too. Why not?

This should be a positive thing.
Trump to student: "Hope you tell your parents there was no collusion. Locker Hillary up. Hope your parents can pay for the hospital. No collusion. Who's next? I've gotta get out of here."
Red MAGA hats, autographed photos of the POTUS (actually signed by one of his aides, of course), an honorary diploma from Trump University, several chips for use in a Trump casino, and a free copy of one of Sean Hannity's ghostwritten books will be given to each patient Trump sees. He and Melania will pose for thumbs-up pictures with each patient, with Trump already wearing his golfing attire, so he can quickly hit the links after leaving the hospital.

Oh god. This should go well.
"The White House announced Sunday that Trump will host a “listening session” with both students and teachers, followed by a similar event Thursday with state and local officials to discuss school safety. No further details were provided."

Handpicked students and teachers?
Politicians know how to silence grieving parents. They don’t know how to combat pissed off teenagers.
The walk out is a start. N
ext they should march on Washington dressed in all red to symbolize the blood of the kids who were shot and end out front of the White House chanting fuck you
Stop by the obama residence as well, hold them all accountable

Tomi Lahren is that annoyingly talkative person in your college class who thinks he/she is a Rhodes Scholar yet has zero grasp of the subject at hand.
When a police officer shoots an unarmed man, she blames the unarmed man.
Sounds like they are changing the walk out date to 3/24.
