Yep. Even after a mass shooter targeted their softball practice. The Second Amendment is a religious text to them.

None of them died in that attack. I suspect there would be a tipping point if this wasn’t something that happened to other people.

Problem here is the math. 400 million americans vs a few dozen or hundred deaths a year. The math always works out to it being other people.

Probably just result in a increased buffer zone on any representative out in public. They will reply very quickly to protect thesmelves, and only themselves.

Not really. They believe guns, increased security, more policing is protecting others. They just won’t accept that it doesn’t work.
 
Guess what? The teacher didn’t leave the door open. The door didn’t lock like it was supposed to lock.

But, Considine said, the door that was designed to lock when shut did not lock.

“We did verify she closed the door. The door did not lock. We know that much and now investigators are looking into why it did not lock,” Considine said.

We need a national door registry! Training requirements for teachers on how to lock doors! Background check on locksmiths!
