Ongoing gun violence/injury thread

They believe that while supporting actual tyrants.
 
Ban on high capacity magazines, 'assault rifles', is bad enough. But they want a national red flag law. Where someone who says they know you (but doesn't have to prove it) can say you are about to use your weapons in an unlawful manner (without really proving how they might know), a judge (or maybe just a law clerk) will sign the order, and law enforcers will come to remove every firearm you own (and maybe some to which they think you might have access regardless of ownership). By the way, EVERY one of these that is presented will be signed. Why do I think that? Because what Judge (or law clerk) is going to take the risk that they could have 'stopped' something (assuming that something would ever happen)? They will rubber stamp these as easily (if not more easily) than they rubber stamp restraining orders now.

So much to unpack.

An AR 15 is not as effective against tyranny as a free and honest press.

Now ask if he can do the anti-abortion (and other reproductive rights) hypotheticals (aka feels) that they want to use to take away every women's bodily autonomy.
 
I think it’s problematic that people claim to have weapons for the purpose of killing political leaders they disagree with.
 
The protect against tyranny thing is so fucking stupid. It’s why despite a shit ton of weapons better than a personal AR-15 Ukraine is begging for advanced weaponry like drones and long range missile batteries.

It’s especially stupid from people who want to keep police and military ass deep in guns and ammo. But I guess they think Nancy Pelosi is going to come to their front door to demand their guns and compliance.

There is a big difference between the police / the military and the Deep-state supported Anti-fa Pelosi militia that is coming to oppress them. These dumb fucks are so scared of a made up boogey-lady BLM army that they will hand power directly to the fascists.

What’s another successful multicultural democracy?

When I end up arguing with my republican counterparts the only thing I can usually point to as successful non gun nut socialist societies are a buncha successful Nordic countries, and I don’t have a good counter
