Ongoing gun violence/injury thread

SCOOOOOP !!!

Four whole posts. That's got to be a record.

No Music Midtown this year and maybe forever thanks to gun nuts.

This is what needs to happen. Sports, music, any events in these fuckshit states should be cancelled. They can have shootouts at their Georgia Florida Line shows and holler "freedom" as they gargle the blood flowing out of their wives' necks from the exit wounds.

Alex Jones doesn't show up to the trial after saying he would be there today.

Bah gawd, is that Alex Jones' music?

Offers to open his mouth to the judge to prove he isn't chewing gum. Like an elementary school kid.

If you're not watching the Alex Jones trial, you're missing out.

Alex said under oath that he didn't have any text messages regarding Sandy Hook.

2 weeks ago, his attorneys accidentally sent the plaintiff's attorneys 2 years of text dumps from Alex's phone. Plaintiff's attorney notified them to give them a chance to declare privilege. They didn't.

Text messages just introduced at trial. Alex lied under oath.

So is anything going to happen to him for lying under oath?

Dunno. They're holding all sanctions until the end of the trial because otherwise, it would be running in molasses.

Maybe a lawyer can chime in if he can go to jail for it. I bet not in a civil trial.

Plaintiffs' counsel was also sent confidential medical records for the days Alex missed depositions due to medical conditions.

Plaintiffs' attorney to defense attorney during break - "There will be MONTHS of fallout from this."

Seems like a lot of people have done a lot of things that should leave them "capital F Fucked" but little actually happens to fuck them.

The moment he learned about the texts.
