My favorite recurring tag, other than El Chupe American Hero, is Single Ph Liked Escorts. Hopefully you're cool with that, Ph. FWIW, I don't really think of it as a specific dig at you -- sub out anyone for Ph and it's still funny.

My favorite tag about me is the Say Hey's Jackoff Hour posted on all the Real World season threads. Can't argue with that.

is there a story behind single ph and escorts? i kind of hope not, because i just love the randomness of it and how well it applies from time to time.

escorts is mine, but I have one certain "follower" tagger who steals a lot of mine and re-tags them. that is one of his favorite re-tags

The "single ph liked escorts" tag came from this discussion. OGD (what happened to him) was talking about how little money he spends.

But as ABC and you have noted, this is admittedly not a very fulfilling life to maintain forever. 6 years of this though and you are 30 years old with $350k+ saved with interest and probably a job making $120k. Then you can double the lifestyle, get married, buy a house and still save the same $40k. Though I agree you can't count on anything in this economy. 1k in unexpected vet bills after the dog hurt herself in the back yard.

This kind of stuff just adds up.

Now I was talking about the freedom to travel, especially to sporting events, buying cool guy things.

For example, I went to a baby shower after the original thread hosted by a friend of the new dad. The house was a bachelor paradise. Fully stocked bar, and at least two TVs within view from anywhere in the house. Sick pool. Well the dad had introduced the homeowner to a girl and they were getting married soon or had recently gotten married. He had the awesome house so she moved in with him and he kept the stuff.

Huh, I never knew tags were property. I thought they were used to catalog threads, often in a funny way. I've reused ones that I found when they belonged.
 
I thought my "Moon pastes URL," or "Skins links whole post," which I admittedly have only posted a few times, were popular. Then I looked at the tag cloud. Where's lectro? was in 313 threads.

Hopefully somewhere there is a single guy doing something cool because of that thread. A buddy of mine got married 2 months ago and he did it right. He started going to the Final Four every year. Went to a Super Bowl. Did a few international trips.
