Well Flagstaff has mighty Frankfort up tonight. Their stats through two games are stupid. Shooting 82/134 = 61% :rulz:
While awaken was complaining about having to many big guys with good hands earlier in this thread he's using it to his advantage. How in the world is a team suppose to match up with a 7'2 SF? I could do it last season but with my max miss on Ingio Montoya I just don't have the bigs to do it this season. Can't play Gantt at SF due to having to play a 6'6 bC and bPF. Snodgrass is a great defender and rebounder for his size at SF but he will have his hands full with Mr. Tuttle. I feel I'm really going to get hurt at PG tonight with Stockdale the senior, against AP the freshman. I'm particularly concerned about his TO's tonight. Stone is going to have to have a huge game for me tonight I believe. Good luck awaken, don't beat me to bad:thumbsup:
yuck! i really don't like all my players on the list and 3 of 4 in the top 26...this is what happens when you don't have time to do extended recruiting. i may change up somethings...
green and coyne are locks!
Sorry DiV, but Akron is coming for Via as well. I can't let a player like that walk out of my backyard without trying. He's the only one I'm 100% sure of right now.
Thanks tau, and good luck to you too - not that you've needed it recently. As in real bball, this game is all about matchups, and your guys have matched up pretty well against me for quite a while. Glad I didn't have to face you in the NTT last year. I'm pretty much returning the same team and lineup as last year, but I know you've had some studs graduate.
Tuttle at SF is not my first choice. Lack of a SF (Gene Watson is disappointing there) has put Tuttle there. Fortunately, he has the athleticism and hands to pull it off, and of course he gets a considerable size advantage. And I agree re my advantage at PG with +7 Sr Stockdale against your frosh.
Good luck recruiting this year, too.
Not looking so good for Cincy. Two of my maxes were Barclay, Montgomery and my fallback is Coyne. Oh well. My other two maxes are Billy Trent and Phillip Cummings (both region 1). Hopefully can snag them and get one random, like Mark Peterson from region 17.
Also, someone mentioned Jayson Arnold - he looked pretty solid in my scrimmage, a bit of a chucker (5-12 from the field, 1-7 from 3), but piled up 2 boards, 5 assists, 5 steals to only two turnovers.
I dunno, I kind of liked your maxes. Their prefs will garner a lot of attention, but you are a tight fit for three of them. The exception is Barclay - straight Fair prefs. I'm curious how he'll turn out. I'm blocked from work, but is Barclay mentioned on the simboard's max thread? I don't seem to remember him.
The player I like least on your list is Bergeron, but he is a 96% fit for us (using SSC). Pretty much a gimme for a solid player. I agree with you re your PG's: one scorer, one passer, tight fits.
I think I'm going to do a slightly different approach to recruiting this season. Anyone's previous exp with something similar, or thoughts about this approach, are very welcome.
- Max 2 players
- Use avail RPE to extend a set of about 10-12 netters before reveal
- Have another 10-12 base netters with 1RPE or scholly in week 1

Guys, don't get too freaked out about the Top 75. Most years it is ~60% accurate. It's a tool - it's not written in stone. It's accuracy and number of ties diminishes as you go down the list. All it is telling you is you'll probably have competition and about how much. If you're aligned with prefs, you're ok to compete.
