Went there a few months ago.

Had great meals at Shaya and R'evolution. Thought Herbsaint was meh.

Cure and Latitude 29 for cocktails.

The Avenue Pub is a great beer bar and has a great bourbon selection as well. Open 24 hours.

The WWII museum is really impressive. If you go, give yourself a few hours to see everything.
 
Any updates on the recommendations? Been several times, but staying near the Convention Center for the first time. Probably going to one of the Cochons.
