Man Pleased To Find Most Of His Mid-’90s Anti-Hillary Rant Still Usable

DECATUR, IL—Expressing relief that he would not have to construct an entirely new diatribe from scratch, local man Harold Willis was reportedly pleased Monday to discover that most of his anti-Hillary Clinton rant from the mid-1990s was still perfectly usable. “I got rid of the stuff about her ’93 health care plan, but besides that and a few other tiny fixes, there was still lots of good material,” said Willis, adding that once he updated it with a couple Benghazi details and a quick tag about the recent controversy over the presidential candidate’s State Department email server, the well-worn harangue would be good as new. “I figured out I could just replace the part about her being a frigid woman with how she’s just another corrupt Washington politician, so that was an easy fix. I’ll probably tighten up the Whitewater section a bit, but unless there are any big surprises during campaign season, this should easily last through the election.” At press time, Willis happily realized he could simply recycle the allegation that Clinton conspired to murder Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster without changing a single word.
 
It looks like this Benghazi hearing is going to end up boosting Clinton's campaign.
 
I guess I am just out of touch here, but it seems there were over 600 request for security in Lybia and none reached Hillary. She also appears to acknowledge in an email that the attack had nothing to do with the video that Susan Rice was blaming 3 weeks later.

I don't think there is anything here that will further damage Hillary, but it does reinforce the duplicity and perhaps incompetence (being unaware of 600 request for added security).

I think it reflects more on Obama's attempt to deflect criticism in the wake of the election than it harms Hillary. Still kind of stinks but it is just politics as usual and is one of the reasons people hate politicians. It is this kind of thing that has Trump and Carson leading the republican primary.

Nothing earth shattering but still fairly slimy.
 
there's no way it was going to hurt her poll numbers or standing unless the GOP had an email that said "cover this up or i'll never be prez lolzzz"
 
they've been throwing this shit against the wall for 2 years. If there was anything to it, it would have stuck by now. At this point it's just politico-porn for true believers like jhmd, serves to confirm GOP-haters' bad impression of the party, and has not a shred of impact on the middle 30% of the population (you know, the group that decides elections).

She's answered all these questions before. Multiple times. This is only helping Hillary and making the Republicans look foolish, childish, and just trying to get in a question for their next campaign ad.

I know there are a lot of reactionary, prisoner of the moment people out there but how could anyone truly believe this was the biggest political scandal in American history? Are you just not familiar with Nixon at all?
 
It was 74-19 from republicans believing this was a bigger deal than Watergate. I mean that's truly a what the fuck statistic. I thought the second paragraph that Townie posted was from the onion. Biggest scandal in political history but no idea where Benghazi is even located. Okay.

I just want to know what stupid fuck thought an attack on 9/11 on one of our embassies in the Middle East was due to anger over a youtube video.

The time for honest questions was 2 interrogation sessions ago. At this point it's grandstanding to justify the flawed existence of the commission to begin with.

Wasn't that literally what happened one country over in Egypt?

Benghazi wasn't an embassy, but I'm not sure which direction that tips the calculus.

There have been 22 hearings on Benghazi. There were 22 hearings on 9/11. Can't stand HRC, but she's almost always prepared. The way to get to her is to surprise her when she's unscripted or unprepared. She also has a temper and can be baited. Doesn't appear any of that happened today. GOP had months to prepare and couldn't get to her. She's not going to screw up any of the debates, especially if she's up against Trump or Carson. She'll expose both on their shallow grasp of the issues. GOP has to hope there's an FBI indictment. GOP is going to have to badger her at every public appearance since the campaign will limit unscripted opportunities.
