Unpopular opinions

More than a few times I’ve though about just popping up in threads and saying “Damn!” “Shit!” and “That is wack!”

“Then you better bring it!”

“It’s already been brought-en!”

Jawbreaker narrowly misses this because it’s 1999 but it’s at 11%. I don’t know how much I actually liked it vs. just being in it for Rose McGowan and Judy Greer.

I let you make that joke, but it was literally my first thought when you mentioned that movie.

The answer for me is Saving Silverman. 18% on rotten tomatoes, but so funny. I've watched it dozens of times. Also, Equilibrium, with Christian Bale. And Wet Hot American Summer. Can't believe that's at 36%.

Close at 54%, but I’ll watch Troy every damn time.

If I ever have a kid, I’m naming him Agamemnnon. Or Aggie

Grandma’s Boy and Not Another Teen Movie are both fantastic.

Goddamn. Of course Palma loves Troy. That dude never disappoints.

I thought Zach and Miri Make a Porno would qualify, but it's 65%. Color me surprised.

I'll have to go with 2012. I legitimately love that movie and it's at 39%.

feel like comedy mostly, but also action/horror, are genres where you're more likely to like a Rotten Tomatoes-bad movie

much harder to find a drama that meets the criteria

I watched Not Another Teen Movie (2001, 29%) pretty regularly on HBO back in the day. Entertaining and my first exposure to Chris Evans and Chyler Leigh. Haven’t seen it in many years but thinking about several scenes makes me laugh.

I fucking love that movie.

I didn't think too hard about it, but I did come up with something from the last few months - Godzilla: King of Monsters (41%). I'll give that some rewatches (with a LOT of FFing).

When you really think about it, 50% on RT isn't much of a bar. That just means half of paid movie critics didn't like a movie.
