Nice call on Song for Zula. That shit is damn near hypnotic. I was going to ask about the exclusion of "Wings" by Haerts until i realized it came out in 2012. Damn, I am slow on the uptake on good, new music.

Townie, can you direct me to any songs on your list that you think I might like. I usually like Daft Punk but not liking that song. Diarrhea Planet and Friendzone seem to have potential.

I would sub Bowie's The Stars (Are Out Tonight) in place of Where Are We Now? The rest I can't really comment on except MBV... I like Only Tomorrow for that spot (and I'd rank the Bowie song higher than MBV).

Blurred lines is the absolute worst.

I honestly have never heard Blurred Lines all the way through. Not once. I've heard snippets when it's playing at places but never all the way through.

For Neko Case, i would've gone with City Swans or Ragtime, but Night Still Comes is a close third.

For Arcade Fire, I would've picked Normal Person.

I would also find room on the list for Superchunk/Low F.

Caveat: I'm almost 40 and too lazy to find new bands so my taste in music probably sucks.

Digging the last two songs to make the Top 20. Zebras tops Giorgio By Moroder for 'Best Laser Tag Song' of 2013, and wow King Krule has an amazing voice. Thanks as always Townie!

Diarrhea Planet is a large, loud, heap of nothing. Kurt Vile is cool.

I like Local Natives. Townie, you'll like this, my friend started a Spotify playlist that he shared w/ me call "Bands w/ Ridiculous Names."

I've discovered a lot of cool bands through him, got obsessed w/ Dawes for a long time.

I like how you threw all of us Avetts lovers a bone making "Bring Your Love to Me" #100. That being said I think Skin and Bones is by far the best record on that album. I just love that song. Its very Avetts.
