Lectro was RIGHT--post1626--(climate related)

No,nothing delusional about calling out Communist power grabs such as the acts Enviro-Alarmists have pulled since the 60’s till today.

Basically, yours is a bankrupt ideology of “Enviromental Religion-Neo Druidism” which sprang from the ashes of the Soviet Union.A weary Stalin declared the system a failure with only “useful idiots”keeping the Marxist ideology alive.Faced with the dramatic failures of Mao and the Soviets, the “useful idiots” left in America turned to “environmentalism” as an ideology with which they could eventually use to control the means of production.

Marxists,simply put,are a Sinister lot.

Have a most pleasant morning! :)

Top 5 failed ‘snow free’ and ‘ice free’ predictions

2014 - AGW advocates - soon to be re-branded-have only themselves to blame for the sheer volume of wishy-washy predictions, actual results, backsliding, and extant evidence of people playing “manipulation station”..the outright omission of readings and data that does not conform..it is this repeated failure of the models and the wild eyed predictions that come with them is the primary ammunition used against them. These repeated failures are what fuels scepticism not the other way around.

New York Times writer Peter Fox took to the editorial pages to pen an op-ed called the “End of Snow” which argued that global warming meant that there could be no more snowy areas to hold future Winter Olympic games.

But past predictions of “snow free” winters and even an “ice-free” Arctic have failed to materialize. Here are some past predictions that winter as we know it would become a thing of the past.

So was Hitler.

Stalin whispered to Churchill that he had killed more of his own people than Hilter had in his camps.

As has been pointed out before..the man in the elevator is Dr. William Happer.

Will is part of the inheritance of the titans of 20th Century Science (with a capital S)

William Happer is the Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics, Emeritus, in the Department of Physics at Princeton University. A long-time member of JASON, a group of scientists which provides independent advice to the U.S. government on matters relating to science, technology, and national security, Happer served as Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science from 1991–1993.

“Trump touts Greenpeace co-founder declaring ‘the whole climate crisis’ is ‘fake science’

President Donald Trump touted Greenpeace co-founder Dr. Patrick Moore’s statements that “the whole climate crisis is not only Fake News, it’s Fake Science.” Trump responded “Wow” at the end of his tweet.
Moore continued: “There is no climate crisis, there’s weather and climate all around the world, and in fact carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.” Patrick Moore is featured prominently in the new skeptical book, “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change.”
Moore made his comments while appearing on Fox. He also explained why he called AOC A ‘Pompous Little Twit’.

Climate Science, Red in Tooth and Claw: ‘Yapping Hyenas Attack a Lion’

By Norman Rogers
William Happer is one of the most important scientists in the United States. He is an emeritus professor of physics at Princeton and a long-serving adviser to the federal government. His scientific discoveries and inventions are extensive. Currently, he serves in the White House as a senior adviser to the National Security Council.
The Trump administration is thinking of forming a “Presidential Committee on Climate Security.” The press has been told to direct questions to Dr. Happer. That is enough to bring out the climate hyenas. They can’t stand the thought that Trump might have some solid scientific advice concerning climate change. The hyenas are running an all-out attack against Dr. Happer.
Following Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, the camp followers of the global warming industry try to create polarization. In a Time magazine article, a former admiral says Happer is a fringe figure. A climate scientist at Georgia Tech says Happer has “false, unscientific notions.” We are reassured that the global warming scare is absolutely solid science, as everyone except climate deniers knows.
What everyone may not know is that climate science is an industry, and the product is the global warming scare. If the global warming scare is discredited, the huge industry will collapse. Climate scientists used to be unimportant academics in an unimportant academic field. The global warming scare made them into celebrities jetting around the world. They won’t give up the glory without a fight.

State of Fear Gets Hotter with Global Warming

“A novel that takes off from a current controversy risks being merely topical, as evanescent as the controversy itself. (Say, a novel written in the Reagan era about the brouhaha over the “Star Wars” defense system.) But if the author is lucky, the controversy will not die down; then, the novel may be called ‘enduring,’ later may come buzz about a ‘classic.’

Michael Crichton was courageous to publish State of Fear (HarperCollins, 603 pages) in 2004. Courageous, but not stupid. His novel takes off after ‘global warming’ with fearsome intelligence, the mastery of information of a trained scientist, and the sure hand of a modern inventor of the scientific-technological thriller. The bad guys are environmental terrorists; the useful idiots who enable them and finance them are the foundations executives, Hollywood stars, and legions of scientists reiterating the politically correct conclusion. The good guys are scientists-become-terrorism-fighters who see through the global warming scam and comprehend the kind of technological, media-savvy, cyber-whiz villains they are up against.

State of Fear is not merely a novel “set” amidst the global warming debate; it is an ingenious, well-oiled machine for educating and converting the reader—even the most complacent, self-righteous keeper of the flame. Through the character of Evans, the reader’s avatar in the novel, the reader is schooled step by step in the premises and arguments of the “global warming catastrophe” doctrine.
The heroes, arguably, are the individuals who begin as cookie-cutter advocates of a cause they genuinely view as beyond argument and pivotal to mankind’s fate, but have their eyes opened—almost prised open—to the truth. And then risk their lives again and again for that truth. In this sense, the reader, too, is invited to be a hero, travelling with the young lawyer Peter Evans from trust in the global warming dogma to questioning it to coming close (more than once) to dying in the battle against the terrorists who, let us say, wish to greatly accelerate the catastrophes against which they warn mankind. Catastrophes they now would inflict on a somnolent, passive mankind not panicked enough for its own good.”

If your argument against global warming is "Carbon is the building block of life", you need to be dismissed immediately. By that logic, carbon monoxide must be completely harmless.

How ridiculous is this ^. They don’t pump carbon monoxide into green houses but carbon dioxide they do.

Jan van Duijn, however, walks proudly through his greenhouse, a vast glass and metal structure spread out over five hectares (12.3 acres) where millions of aubergines are doing very nicely thank you.
He's happy because thanks to a deal with a supplier, he's getting hot water piped in from the factory, which produces ammonia, to maintain the temperature at a constant 68 degrees F (20C).
The chemical site, five kilometres (three miles away), also supplies carbon dioxide which helps his aubergines grow more abundantly.
"We're pioneers in a way," van Duijn said, while admitting that what drove him to try this business model was cost.
The water from the Yara factory, where it is used as a coolant, flows along underground pipes and into his greenhouse at a temperature of 90 degrees C.
There it is circulated in pipes between the rows of aubergines, sharing its heat among the beds of rockwool they grow in, before being pumped back to the factory as coolant again.
Similarly, CO2 released during the manufacture of ammonia is injected into the greenhouse to stimulate growth.
"It's the basic principle of photosynthesis," van Duijn said. Combined with water and light, the plants convert the carbon dioxide into organic compounds, releasing oxygen as a side product.
The level of CO2 inside is three times higher than outside, giving a crop yield that according to van Duijn is two to three times greater.
He reckons the project will produce 2.5 million kilogrammes (5.5 million pounds) of aubergines a year, adding to the millions he already cultivates under glass on his land in the southern Netherlands.
Their temperature is monitored and adjustable by computer, said van Duijn, who employs 10 people in summer and 30 in winter at Terneuzen.
Using CO2 in greenhouses is a common practice in the Netherlands but it is rarely so closely tied to industry.
The Netherlands, Europe's top exporter of horticultural products cultivated under glass - think tulips - has 10,000 hectares under cover producing flowers, fruits, vegetables and other plants.
According to the horticultural association LTO Glaskracht they produced 5.2 megatonnes of CO2 last year - around 63 per cent of the agricultural sector's total emissions.
Meanwhile, keeping greenhouses at the right ambient temperatures accounted for eight to 10 per cent of the country's natural gas consumption.
"It's the first time residual heat is being reutilised on a large scale for a private, commercial venture," said Jacob Limbeek, the commercial director of WarmCO2, the company supplying the water and carbon gas.
He said that the system allows for a 90 per cent reduction in fossil fuel energy use compared with traditional greenhouses, which are heated by oil or natural gas.
Van Duijn, whose energy bill for the new greenhouse accounts for 20 per cent of fixed costs against 25 per cent for the standard version, struck a deal with WarmCO2 that set prices for the next 15 years.
"That gives us a certain security," he said. "Our competitors have no idea what their energy bills will be like from one year to the next, they depend on oil prices, gas prices and exchange rates."
WarmCO2, which also supplies greenhouses producing tomatoes and peppers, is aiming eventually to pipe CO2 to 168 hectares under glass at Terneuzen.
The sector, which is also experimenting with solar panels and geothermal energy, has committed itself to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent by 2020 from its 1990 level, according to LTO Glaskracht.
