Have you ever dealt with financial ratios that are based on "average net assets" which is the same thing as "average partners' capital" on a year to year basis, specifically one that is factoring in carried interest?

Have to put a schedule (percentage of mgmt fees, percentage of carried interest to ANA) together for a client with only one year to base it on, so trying to figure out how to do year 2 (inception to date vs yearly) and the initial year calculations make zero sense, so its not giving me much guidance. Any time I try to google carried interest I get linked to an oped piece straight out of the tunnels

lol

a lot of my clients do it differently. you have pcap, man fees, and carried interest ITD?
