Google Fiber coming to NC?

How widespread is Google Fiber in the cities that get it?

Any idea how they decide where to go?
 
When you start adding in the premium channels looks to be a very similar price of Comcast/TWC/Verizon, except your internet is faster.

I think they split up into neighborhoods and require a certain number or percentage of commitments in each one before they'll start work there.

Yeah... this isn't about TV. Offering the channels is a stop gap for those used to getting cable and internet as a package. This is about getting fast internet that could make traditional cable delivery of TV content obsolete.
