Weekly cell phone thread: NEW iPhone DISCUSSION GOES HERE

Just got an update to my Droid 2 today. Now have gingerbread. Awesome.

I got the Bionic this afternoon. The download speeds are pretty amazing. I've been at work all day so not a ton of time to play but so far no crashes\freezes. I've had it on for about 3-4 hours and it's sitting at about 70% battery power (i've checked mail, sports scores a few times, etc). 4g has been on the entire time.

Overall I like it a lot but the $300 price tag is hefty. Luckily I can trade my old phone in for $100 back and it makes the price more reasonable.

Alright so yesterday got pretty good use out of the phone. I was at the game so I had a good bit of activity with checking other scores, texting, facebook, etc. I unplugged it at about 1230pm with a full charge. I plugged it back in around 1230am and it was still at 20% battery life.

It didn't freeze\malfunction once during the day. Remained extremely fast at all times. I was able to check football and baseball scores at a speed on par or faster than on my computer. It was nice being able to check scores after a tackle and have the phone back in my pocket before the next snap. All in all I'm pretty impressed with it, it's honestly like a small tablet more than a phone.

Thanks. I'm trying to decide between the Bionic, iPhone 5 and Nexus Prime (assuming the latter two actually come out before December).

Just won an iPod touch, so I'm leaning towards the other two. Have only had one Motorola phone and did not really like it, but that was years ago.

Build quality on the Moto Android phones are really good. Battery tends to be better on them, as well, based on anecdotal observation on my part.

Niiice. Imma get me the prime when it comes out.

Sticky situation. You know how I'm borrowing the iPhone from twgirlfriend's dad's company? Well the tech guy emailed me yesterday and was like, are you done with the phone? I need it for a new employee.

So basically I'm being forced to get the Bionic when I'd rather wait for the Prime. Either way, I'm grateful for the free iPhone that they got me for a few months so I shouldn't complain.

Bummer. I'm waiting for the iPhone 5 so I can upgrade my wife's DInc. It's been a good phone, but not showing great long term build quality.

Make sure you take all the twgirlfriend porn off of it. #awkwardworksitchforpops

Just picked up the Bionic. I might leave work a little early today to get it set up at the Verizon store.

Having to wait on a good case is going to drive me nuts. I hate getting fingerprints on my shit.
