My buddy's twitter feed just showed Shaka to UT. Cuanzo Martin left for the Cal job.

If true, are you kidding me????
 
Meh. They are just the next school that he will tease along for some blueballs before deciding not to go anywhere.
 
Shake didn't turn down as many programs as he has just to go to Tennessee.
 
Shaka Smart would NEVER go to Tennessee. Wake Forest is his dream school, a small, academically-minded place.
 
Or Umass, or Memphis...
 
if you thought our fan situation was a shit show, you have no idea how bad Tenn is right now. keep in mind, our fan angst only came after historical lows. Pearl had apx a .600 winning percentage and went to an elite 8 and a sweet 16. Cuonzo had apx a .600 winning percentage and went to a sweet 16. There fans started a petition to fire him and bring back Pearl. I can't stand Wellman, but no coach will ever be able to say that the guy won't get your back after he stood by bzztanic and still protected the guy after he left. There AD, their 2nd one in 4 years, refused to give Martin any vote of confidence and alumni refused to allow him to use their private planes to recruit. UT is a shit show. If you think message boards affect anything, keep in mind the "govols" board nicknamed Cuonzo Martin "Coonzo." I'm sure Mr. and Mrs. Smart will love that.

Think about the reasons people whined about a big coach staying away from the Wake fan base because we were "mean" to BZ. Well, that shit at UT is real. Somebody told those mouth breathers they were on par with Uk in basketball and in the same field as Bama in football, they are neither.

Piss on Shaka...I've heard enough rumors about this dude. Everyone wants to act like he is waiting on a major school to offer, but truth is he is seems very happy where he is. I'm happy we got Manning, please, can we move the Fuck on from Shaka...

I think (or at least hope) everybody has. I'm just mor eshocked at the shit show UT has turned into.
