Also, think its good to keep Chill as he is loved by all Wake fans, except those that think he needs to pay his dues as first assistant at South Stokes HS for a couple years. He will provide a good transition for the new staff with the school and fanbase. You're not going to find another man that wants to see WFU bball succeed and will work tirelessly to see that happen.

In fairness, that's not Chill's fault.

It's not unusual for a new coach to retain a member of the previous staff. It provides continuity for the players and some local knowledge for the rest of the coaching staff. And who from the previous staff would it be? Battle wouldn't settle for 3rd assistant and Rusty isn't a very good coach. Childress is a WFU legend, knows the current players, and already has some recruiting connections in the area.
