Awesome Map Thread

Are any of those worth trying (read: not in the same peer group as bud light)?

probably not; im guessing they're all the cheapest/most readily available beer. there are some exceptions but even looking through the heart of europe, i've had pretty much of of them and they're all euro versions of Bud.

Fail on germany. Oettinger is a group of like 20 brands. Largest producer, sure, but krombacher is the top beer.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen it in map form yet, but here is the biggest employer for each state:

http://247wallst.com/special-report/2015/03/19/the-largest-employer-in-each-state-2/

A bunch of states had hospital/health systems or university systems where state schools have multiple campuses. And a few states had a unique employer, like Boeing in WA, a food retailer in NJ and MGM in NV. But for the entire Southern block from VA to FL over to TX plus IL & OH, it's Walmart. In VA, it was the ship yards in Tidewater 30 years ago, then Food Lion like 15-20 years ago, now Walmart. Growing up in Balmur, the docks and Beth Steel used to be huge employers, and now it's the U of Md system. It's not like I didn't realize it before, but this state by state list shows quite starkly that we've become a service economy.

Walmart, university systems, medical care systems, only one hotel/casino, two retailers not named Walmart and only two old line industrial companies as the largest employer in a state. Really amazing.

one of the states ties into an inside joke my friends and I have so I sent that out, and one of them caught that. I missed it, but there's got to be something else there. Either that or its a secret pedophile safe haven

So am I to assume that there is nothing in Iowa but pigs and cows, and presumably farmers to tend to them?
