Danny Manning Credibility Watch

We finally all agree that it’s NCAA Tourney or pack your bags next year, but it seems like empty energy we will be expending to rally around this rule. Because I don’t have any reason to believe that Wellman will abide by this collective stipulation of ours. If anything we know he likes to take any pathetic reason at all to justify doubling down.

We all know what’s going to happen. We will show flashes of brilliance but enough mind-numbing incompetence to put us into the CBI or something, and that will be enough “historically competitive” progress to keep Danny safely and unenthusiastically patrolling the sidelines in ill-fitting suits for another year.

How can this coach remain employed with the ridiculous roster turnover we have going on? His own guys are taking whatever offer than can get to not play for him anymore.

You're just looking at it the wrong way. Moore leaving is actually the result of Manning being too good of a coach. He's the victim of his own success, or something like that.
 
Can someone remind Manning that his job is to win basketball games, not churn out professional basketball players scattered around the world.....
 
We will want him to be fired the day after the first round loss in the ACC tournament this year but that definetly will not happen.

Wake needs to give Manning a big contract extension to show long-term support for Manning so that he can continue recruiting talented players to Wake.
