I’ll have to double check the timing but I think Fox running an article about it is the only reason he had to make a bullshit excuse on the fly (throwing his daughters under the bus) and come back early.

It’s really awful that the lame stream media would make such a big deal out of a parent taking their kids across the border to escape unsafe conditions in their own country.
 
what kind of Veruca Salt-ass kids did they raise if they begged their parents to go somewhere warm and their parents relented immediately?

"We should list even more grievances (a favorite GOP word nowadays) against you, but decided you are not worth more of our time to list them. We have said enough!" (and they proceed to rant for another page). "You have embarrassed the Kinzinger family name!" (the letter is signed by people whose last name is Otto).

With relatives like these, Rep. Kinzinger doesn't need enemies.

How long would it take one of his cousins to ask him for help getting their kid into West Point or even the University of Illinois? Or help getting a government contract for their company?

I just read pence declined to speak after Trump was announced. Apparently I was wrong. Also, cpac prefers "light" treason, anti Semitism, insurrection, naziism...
 
Ever since he got shot, Steve Scalise has been treated with kid gloves. When trying to move up the ladder of the GOP in the House he proudly stated, "I'm David Duke without the baggage." He is hardly unique in today's GOP.
 
seeing the pic on that tweet reminds me that I'm surprised Trump never wore some kind of Commander in Chief military uniform full of medals and commendations he gave himself
