What's comical is how Brad and other RWers try to downplay giving US policy to foreign adversaries.

Brad does not even understand that in 2016, after securing the nomination, trump removed all the hard-line-tough on Russia language from the republican platform. But trump's not the puppet. NOT THE PUPPET!
 
Of course he would. He isn't saying that he supports Trump as the nominee, but that if he were the nominee, he would support him because he is a party guy. Absolutely slimy, given that he did blame Trump for 1/6, but not at all surprising.

Given that Republicans have become a quasi-religious cult of personality, it would figure that they would finally create a false idol to worship. It wouldn't surprise me if, when it's wheeled onto the main convention floor, they all bow down and worship it, like a scene from The Ten Commandments in the old Cecil B. DeMille movie. And yes, the play on words in the the tweet is most appropriate.

is there anything lamer than attending CPAC? just tons of aggrieved white ppl on stage yelling about the same thing.
 
The group attending CPAC has to have essentially reached herd immunity at this point.
