Apparently the Lifetime Channel turned this incident into a 2018 TV movie called "The Girl in the Bathtub". I couldn't resist looking at his website. He also, Trump-like, brags repeatedly on his website that he "was voted SUPER LAWYER, by his peers, in ALL areas of Criminal Defense for 14 consecutive years." So he's not just a lawyer, but a SUPER LAWYER! And he didn't build his career from scratch but inherited it from a famous father - he "has been winning cases in excess of 40 years, having worked under his famous father since freshman year in high school. He learned, from the Grand Master himself, the art of effective cross examination, along with all other aspects in the defense of a criminal case." I wonder how many times he's watched that Lifetime movie. LOL.

No. 2 House Republican says GOP would act against Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz

WASHINGTON — House Republicans would “take action” on Rep. Matt Gaetz if the Justice Department formally moves ahead against him, the chamber’s No. 2 GOP leader said Wednesday.

The remarks by Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana made him the latest of many congressional Republicans who have opted against springing to the defense of the Florida Republican. Federal agents are investigating Gaetz over allegations that include sex trafficking and sex with a minor, according to two people who spoke on condition of anonymity because they could not discuss details publicly.

Scalise said in recent years, party leaders have removed Republican lawmakers facing serious charges from their committee assignments. That was essentially a restatement of the House GOP’s internal rules, which require lawmakers to resign from committees if they are indicted for felonies with penalties of at least two years in prison.

“If something really formal happened from Justice, we would of course react and take action,” Scalise told reporters.

There's a long list of people the House GOP has condemned formally and informally before the Justice Department got involved. That list includes Liz Cheney, but not Matt Gaetz.

I really can't believe that Angus is the first poster to truly depheat Ph. Epic take down here Angus. Ph says no pubs are commenting on Gaetz and Angus found one guy that said he was 'waiting to see what happens' in response to a direct question about the issue. Ph's point can not possible still stand in the face of that overwhelming, epic, takedown. Wow.
