“Founders month” is 100% a middle finger response to black history, or in this case, Native American, history month.

Well at least white people got that White History Month they've been clamouring for. Finally, our children can learn the history of white people on this continent.

Honestly, it's obvious why his base loves him so much. It's because he does shit like this all the time. His supporters are the type of people who dream of trolling minorities and white liberals with endless insults and attacks, and Trump is actually doing it for them at the presidential level. It's blatant white nationalism and tribalism, which they nonetheless stoutly deny in public. It's Angus as POTUS. What's so hypocritical about all this is that these are often the same people who complain that Democrats are the ones who are dividing the country and are snowflakes who just need to get over it, but at the same time they love him for attacking minorities and white liberals and stirring them up. No wonder they adore him - he's what they would be if they were POTUS.

It’s almost like Republicans decided at some point that winning on merit was too difficult. Far easier to just lie about everything and appeal to people’s fears and worst instincts.
