I don't agree - if it was just right-wing media that's driving this then Trump would have gotten 70-million plus votes in 2016 as well, and Romney would have gotten far more votes in 2012. Clearly Trump himself has some kind of appeal to large numbers of people who don't normally vote, and I don't think that Fox or Breitbart or Newsmax or whatever is what is driving them to vote, it's Trump himself. Right-wing media may be brainwashing these folks, but it's Trump himself who is getting them out to vote, imo.

Democrats need to do the hard work necessary to start electing state legislators and governors in the swing states in middle America. Governorships have been a good path to the presidency.

Stacy Abrams has done incredible work to flip Georgia by doing the grass roots organizing and get out the vote work. That needs to be replicated and extended.

Not just identifying with the bad guys, but those Japanese soldiers wasted decades of their lives in a futile effort. It’s not like their dedication and sacrifice paid off in the end. What a weird thing to aspire to.

Brooks broke the cane beating Sumner, afterwards Southerners sent him hundreds more canes with which to beat other Yankee abolitionist congressmen. What is past is prologue, I guess.
