Does Wellman go to the basketball games? I have been to three games and haven't seen him. Curious if any posters have talked to him recently.

I was at the GT game and saw him walking around before tip. I was in upper level seats but was so tempted to yell down something at him.

Hugging his photo of Bzzz, he's had a really hard time with the breakup.

"hopefully terminal"… someone feels strongly. :rulz:

I saw him at the Louisville game in his normal seats with his wife, and also John Swofford and the new ACC Associate commish for basketball.

He dealt with that lung infection for a while, including a hospital stay.

I would like to tell him hello tonight. Discuss misuse of funds for 4 years.

The less we see of him, the more I like it. Hopefully, he will be invisible after his stint as basketball playoff chairman.

Has he given any interviews in place of Manning yet? Surely that is commonplace for ADs to do instead of coaches given how much he did it for [Redacted].

LOL. Those post-game press conferences from Ron were the best. I really wish we had archived some of them.

"We have Daniel Green Green coming back for us next season. Things are looking good."

"Uh, Mr. Goolsbyrules, I'll have to defer to Mr. Casstevens here on that issue. He will demonstrate how the investment for those four years actually produced record attendance and revenues beyond anything we ever saw during the Childress, Duncan, Rogers, Paul, Howard, or Shoemaker years. Help yourself to some Krispy Kreme doughnuts."
