Palin "seriously interested" in running

They played a 2 minute clip of Palin's speech at Iowa and it was literally incoherent. It sounded like random words just thrown together with no relation to each other...I am talking Miss Teen SC style. Does she go off the cuff?

That was truly painful, "...the man can only ride ya when your back is bent...". WTF? She makes Joni Ernst sound like Tony Blair. Bubba caught shit for being photographed wearing running shorts in the Oval Office and Timmy just got cracked on for not wearing a tie to the White House. People really despise Michael Moore and rightfully so, but nobody wants a President holding up a sign saying, "Fuck You Michael Moore" with gun sights on it.

Sarah's got more guts than brains, but it's going to be a very hard fall when she fails to run again or gets in and gets pummeled by other GOP campaigns. Dems will lay off Palin, so the GOP is going to have to destroy her if she does run.

I can't be the only one thinking that she should get some kind of show with Trump. It would be tacky, contrived, lack substance, and make rubes from MatSu to Miami as happy as pigs in shit. Ratings, ratings.
 
I think the so called Palin love is overblown. I literally don't know one person that thinks highly of her. I know that I live in a bubble here in DC but my in-laws are 24/7 Fox News watchers and even they dislike her. She seems to be a media product because they love to make fun of her. Perhaps I am overestimating the American public.

in the public sphere entertainment value is important, and often remunerative, but not necessarily convertible into political office
 
Palin's a lot like Rush Limbaugh-makes a lot of noise, has small group of dedicated followers, hated by liberals, gets paid but ultimately can't move the needle electorally. Almost all of the GOP candidates Palin endorsed got wiped out in the primaries this year. They have to cancel half the shows on MSNBC if Palin or Rush ever retired since they wouldn't have sufficient content. Glenn Beck's rarely in the news anymore after he lost his cable platform and went to a pay model.
