List of Pretentious Shit

A wealth tax of holdings over $50,000,000 is perfectly legitimate.It would be totally unbelievable that people with that kind of wealth hadn't taken that much (most likely many time more) in tax breaks the rest of us don't get.

They've also paid many times more taxes than what the rest of us have paid.

I don't think calling an Arnold Palmer a "half and half" is pretentious, but it's a much worse adjective of some sort.

Wait a sec, you’re saying people with $50MM in wealth have most likely taken many times more than that in tax breaks available only to them? Imma stop you right there.

I believe what he is getting at is that a 2% annual tax on earnings over $50MM is very different than a 2% annual tax on wealth over $50MM.

No, the previous post was about a 2% wealth tax. They have likely taken many times that 2% in tax breaks that most of the public will never be able to use.
