Pro Life / Pro Choice Debate

So all the death panel arguments were another form of projection.

So all the death panel arguments were another form of projection.

Of course. They're all about projection these days. If a conservative accuses a liberal of doing something, you can be virtually guaranteed that they're already doing it themselves or thinking about it.

Or know someone that is and they are willing to look the other way. For profit.

Where the fuck is scooter? That coward disappeared real quick once reality set in.

West Virginia GOP lawmaker Chris Pritt: We need to eliminate requiring absent fathers to provide child support to the mother, because it will eliminate their need to pressure the mother to have an abortion. Of course the mother will have to provide 100% financial support, but no doubt with some good ol' bootstraps she and her unwanted baby will be fine. I keep reading conservatives and the Religious Right saying that they support helping new mothers raise the baby they're forcing them to have, but no sign of it here. Pro-birth, not pro-life indeed.

ETA: After getting lit up on social media he's already backtracking (or trying to).

He probably owes child support.

Looks like a 2 to 1 vote in favor of protecting abortion rights.

Holy crap, that’s a huge win. I hope it’s a good omen for November.

keep it up Republicans. Keep bashing gay people. Keep insisting 10 year old girls have babies. Keep protecting insurrectionists. keep voting against veterans.

Kansas asks the citizens to decide the abortion debate. With 89% of the vote tabulated, abortion rights are winning 63% to 37%.

This is the procedure to restore the right of women to decide what is best for themselves in every state. Take the matter directly to the citizens. Pro choice supporters should bring this matter to a vote in every state in the union. Let the people decide. Not judges. Not legislators. The people.

Yet another example of Dem issues being more people than Dem candidates.

Figure out how to bridge the gap and Dems could actually win some elections.

The Democrats diffuse the strength of their platform by having too many issues. Reduce the issues to gun regulation, reproductive rights and environmental protection. All three issues poll 60/40 or better in their favor. Add in protect the Constitution using the sedition/treason committed within the Republican party in 2020 and their desire to overthrow the voters choice in favor of the legislative voice in the Electoral college for added measure. Encourage the voter to vote Democrat on every level of government to ensure action on these 4 issues. Take out the sledge hammers and just keep pounding.

Yep. General elections should be about these core human rights issues. Once elected, address the policy details.

Does it really matter? I worry people in red states feel like they can vote on this individual measure then still vote for their right wing nutjob candidate to protect the rest of their “conservative” values.
