Rules questions vs. Indiana

Every electronic implementation into sports so far has been good. Be it replay, goal line technology, tennis line system, etc. Do away with the human element as much as humanly possible, please.
Needs to be quicker though. I think all replays should be decided by an official in a booth. No need to go under the hood or pull out the monitor. It just takes time and kills the flow.

Agreed. No reason why the NFL just can't station a team of refs in the Replay Center and have them make the call.

should take 30 seconds max to review and make a decision

When you are watching stuff on TV vs. what the officials are getting in the booth or at courtside on the monitors, they sometimes don't even get enough replays to make a decision within 2 or 3 minutes. Sometimes in college basketball, while the Jay Bilas's of the world are raining down on the officials at the table about the time it has taken or whatever, they have gotten some Holly Farms commercial by mistake from the TV people instead of the replay. Or finally on the 7th replay at the table they give them the one that we saw at home on the 2nd that showed what was needed.

But basketball is by far the worst where the officials run over to the table just to review junk. At least in football & baseball a review has to be called for by the booth or a coach.

why don't the refs see the same thing as everyone else
