One of the earliest Cliven Bundy supporters was some Nevada pol. Same women had a Christmas card featuring multiple generations of her family displaying guns. Cruz's role in the government shut down won't help him in a general election if he makes it that far. A potential POTUS can't side with domestic terrorist anarchists. Following the original Bundy stand off, a couple ambushed and executed two cops.
 
Just smoke these turds out. This should not take long at all. Roll up in 6 or 7 Bearcats and full that cabin full of tear gas. No one dies and the rednecks come crawling out with snot and mucous running all over their faces.

Seems to me that the Feds are approaching this the right way. The fact that police forces often overpolice and use too much violence when black people or urban protesters are involved does not mean we should want the feds to overreact and use too much violence when white rednecks are involved. Pointing out some inconsistencies is fine, but it's ultimately a false equivalency. The goal should be for the Chicago and Baltimore and St. Louis PDs to use the same kind of restraint the Feds are using here, where appropriate.
 
Better not open the package from Uncle Sam.
