I think more the latter. Johnny Miller won there.

So what is the winning score? I'm thinking +4 or +5.
 
Miller could putt in those days--you can't shoot a 63 on that course (or any other one) without being able to roll the ball.

It's going to piss rain tomorrow late, which will soften the course up a bit. I'm thinking even par.

I'm heading up after work tomorrow. Pretty pumped to see this place.

The way USGA stages events has changed since '73

And Miller shot 63 on Sunday at Oakmont? I forgot since he doesn't do color for our National Championship anymore

Saw Mark Brooks talking earlier. He doesn't seem too bad. I liked where he said he just wanted to break 80 in his first couple of opens and liked par 70 courses because it gave him more of a cushion. I can relate to that.

I blame Fox more than Greg, why take a guy as your lead analyst in your first real attempt to broadcast major golf, that really had very little experience doing it? Not saying they could've plucked Faldo or Miller away for the other networks, but there were several other options out there, Zinger being one of those. They just wanted a huge name I guess.

what is the deal with the schedule? Nobody is explaining the deal and it's not real online...is it round 2 today 3 tomorrow 4 Monday or what?
