Yeah, that's exactly what it is.

Clearly not perfect, but it only looks at the Four Factors (eFG%, TO Rate, oRB%, and FTA/FGA) and then adjusts for strength of schedule.

You don't have to "add up talent evaluations" or "coaching ability" because the numbers are what they are. They don't really lie this far into the season. If you aren't good at rebounding the ball, you aren't going to suddenly get better because of your coach. You would have either already been good, or he doesn't care that much about it.
