Agreed. In a vacuum, there are better coaches. But considering everything that has happened at Baylor, grobe is a great fit for a year and then Baylor search committee can regroup next year.

They have a lot of talent in the program, so it's possible he could win there in the short term. Our problem was he stopped bringing enough talent here to compete.
 
Whelp, "culture" rears its ugly head again. Pretty solid choice, though, if you want the rest of the country to get off your back for turning a blind eye to rapists.

Grobe inherits an offense that put up 756 yards in their last game. Surely will be able to keep that going
 
Best wishes to JG, but what a weird situation. Why is he an interim hire? Is he automatically a candidate for permanent HC? It's not like he'll really change the culture in a single season.
