General Election Thread: Two Weeks Out

Yep. And George P. Bush will probably be Governor. Latinos hold him in high regard.

Jeb's kid is only 2 years younger than the Castros? Cruz is pretty much hosed with antiquated policies and slightly younger, much more personable and charismatic in-state competition coming up fast.

GOP base doesn't understand that AZ will go blue before TX goes purple and Dems will soon have 270 reliably blue EC votes without TX, FL, or OH. Advocating rounding up and deporting 12M people accelerates the process. Can't imagine P wants any part of the round up or the wall. W and Gary Johnson (along with Jeb) didn't, but McCain's hitched his final campaign to Trump.

A lot of her Wall Street cronies are members but they curry Clinton favors with cold cash. Besides, she's the last hairy-toed cow on earth they want hanging around Augusta. They'd invite Martha Burk before Hillary. The Prince of Sleaze might actually have a shot if he wasn't married to Hillary. He'd probably spend months in the Crow's Nest hiding from her.

Just like he hitched his 2008 run to W. I used to respect McCain more.

Can understand Palin latching onto McCain & Trump, and Newt, Sessions, Christie, Brewer, and Scott Brown hitching their fading/faded stars to Trump, but McCain and Ryan done fucked up.

McCain peaked in 2000, but squandered that by kissing W's ass after Rove slimed him, Palin, Joe the Plumber, and now Trump. Ryan lost credibility by aligning himself with both Mitt & Trump. McConnell's smelling the barn, so he knows he's done.

Haley, Martinez, and Kasich kept their options open. Thune and Little Marco-TBD. Cruz's policies, not Trump, have screwed up his future. Weasely guy can't flip flop back from full Huckabee.

Trump is gonna be at at the Greensboro Coliseum June 14th. Gate City incline continues.

Interesting: Bernie would start at 18% in a 4-way race vs. Clinton, Trump & Johnson. Enough to get in the debates.

Doesn't bode well for Trump in VA. Will get schlonged in NOVA, so he needs big chunks of Richmond and Tidewater because sweeping rural areas won't be enough. Johnson/Weld could siphon off enough suburban Richmond voters to hurt him. Did Kathleen Willey show up?

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump
Clinton made a false ad about me where I was imitating a reporter GROVELING after he changed his story. I would NEVER mock disabled. Shame!

Trump's supposed to give a speech today trashing the Clintons, but assume he'll shift most of the focus to Orlando. Already called for repeal of birthright citizenship and a Muslim ban. Given that one of the Boston bombers was a naturalized US citizen and that San Bernadino husband and the Orlando shooter were US citizens at birth, would not be terribly surprising if Trump calls for a multi-generation ban of citizenship for Muslim immigrants. His supporters would be all over that along with deporting US citizens. Trump never admits mistakes, he just stops talking about them (birthers, 9/11 celebrations) and he clammed up on birthright citizenship relatively quickly, but won't be able to resist more xenophobia, religious bigotry, and shaky constitutional pandering.

Maybe Trump will make Muslims sew a large crescent on their clothing to make the identification easier for deportation.
