Maybe an exaggeration. But I don't think construction worker is considered anywhere near as manly as military member, and that only got a few votes

Not really. My first job out of college required me to be on job sites 3-4 days a week and he's not far off. 90% are drop outs showing up to work daily to finance their drinking habits or immigrants under 5'6" which definitely don't fit the definition of "manly"
