The APs Top 100 Football Programs of All-Time

The Associated Press has been ranking the best teams in college football since 1936. To determine the all-time Top 25, the AP formula counted poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (two points) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for AP championships (10 points).

Wake is ranked 80th.

Given our poor national reputation, I'm surprised we ranked as well as we did.

We have a sizable lead over Vanderbilt and let's point and laugh at ECU (88) who likes to pretend they are North Carolina's "football school".

That is indeed terrible for a school openly pleading for an invitation to the Big XII.
 
The Big XII should look at bringing Iowa Pre Flight in as a member.
