Role of the Media

If you wanted to use the standard you brought up, they would editorialize that Hillary is too corrupt to be president or to just state what she says at face value.

What specific corruption(s) has Hilary been indicted for or convicted of?

The twins adopting the "depends on what the meaning of 'is' is" line of arguing is an interesting way to show their Clinton support

What does "too corrupt to be president" mean?

Fox News already pushes that all the time.

It would be a ridiculous statement with no meaning outside of an opinion. That is the problem with editorializing straight news.

Well there are no qualifications for president other than be 35 and born in America so when people say "so and so isn't qualified to be president because of X" it's always just a subjective opinion. The only thing that matters is who gets more votes.

Which, once again, brings us back to the original question, what is the role of the media?

It seems like you want the news to never editorialize. Trump says Obama founded ISIS, just report it and move on to the next story. Let the American public figure out whether it's true or not. It's their prerogative if they want to believe it, or if they even know that it's (obviously) a complete lie.

When Hitler says he wants an Aryan Nation and to exterminate all the Jews we just report it and move on?

Where is the line drawn.

Obviously big gap between Trump and Hitler, just pointing out the extreme of "reporting the news" and not commenting at all on it.

Is people not believing the same things you do really a proper justification for the media to just become liberal propaganda?

You do realize "people not believing the same things you do" is the justification for conservative propaganda, right?

There is no truth in media, it's all subjective, except for all of the right wing expose pieces about Hillary Clinton's bad-health/corruption/dishonesty. All of that stuff is indisputable.

Dear Media:

The medias role is the talk about whatever makes them the most money. Capitalism.

Lol. Three years ago conservatives were making fun of Dems for not engaging in Russia panic.

It's a roast. Coulter was probably invited because Lowe himself is a staunch conservative. Pretty sure Karate Kid and Peyton are too.

Strong misogyny on display. No more offensive than some of RJ's comments, but damn. Nobody does hate better than the offended left.

Roast of whom? Rob Lowe, no?

Lol. You have no idea how roasts work. Everybody is fair game to get roasted. I'm sure there were plenty of barbs thrown at others.

And again, look at the Trump rally shirts.
