Obama, kicking off a multi-day campaign tour of battleground states, appealed to a crowd of supporters at Capital University to support the Democratic nominee. He spent just as much time, however, taking shots at Donald Trump and other Republicans.


Obama asked blue-collar voters why they're supporting Trump

The president explicitly appealed to working people who are thinking about voting for Trump to reconsider.

"The notion that this guy is going to fight for working people when his entire life, he did not have time for anybody who wasn't rich or a celebrity, who wouldn't let you into one of his hotels unless you were cleaning the room, or let you onto one of his golf courses unless you were mowing the fairway? C'mon -- this guy is going to be your champion?" Obama said.

Obama took a number of other digs at Trump, including that the GOP nominee "has never worn a baseball hat or a seed hat until he started selling 'em."

Telling the truth is going high. Trump's record for treatment of employees is abysmal. Hell, as recently as THIS SUMMER, a Vegas property voted to be unionized and he has refused to accept it. Employees at that property are paid 20-30% less than people at similar jobs in Vegas. They also have virtually no benefits.

He has screwed working people as contractors as Standard Operating Procedure. He simply dares people to sue him rather than pay for the goods and services has contracted for. Hell, the Mafia would be envious of how many people he has stolen from over the past forty years.

If anything Obama was being kind to Trump. There have been fewer people screwed at the Bunny Ranch than what Trump has done to working people.
