the only bench we should be concerned about in 2020 is the supreme court bench
He's not mysteriously worth $300mm
What the Dems need is someone out of the midwest on the ticket. Maybe Booker/Duckworth would be better than Gillibrand.
Michael Bloomberg probably. He's likely kicking himself for now running this time around
Speaking of Castro, wonder what happens to HUD under a Trump regime.
He's supposed to rebuild the apocalyptic hellscape that is our inner cities, so HUD probably plays a role.
Sherrod Brown would help.
Gillibrand studied abroad with Connie Britton, so that's cool.
That's a broad I'd study.
I think Mark Warner will be in the conversation as the moderate establishment candidate.
Gillibrand seems cool. I like Harris too.
Neither is Hillary.
Booker, Castro, Gillibrand, Clinton, Obama, etc. are all pretty much the exact same policy-wise. Social progressives with neoliberal economic values.
It's kind of funny to realize that if this exercise was done in 2006 or 2014, Obama and Trump would have appeared nowhere near the list of potential nominees.
Disagree about 2006. That convention speech really put him on the map.
