Ongoing Dem Debacle Thread: Commander will kill us all

Let's see if we can hold onto 2 thoughts at the same time:
1) The Democratic Party colossally shit the bed in 2016, and frankly has done so from 2010 forward; and
2) The Republican Party has become a party of white male identity politics. It also caters to the Alt-Right and courted Russian hackers and influence in the 2016 election.

And lol at the "jobs and pay taxes line." Go read about the President's supporters in Johnstown, PA. Not to many jobs amongst the oxy-addicted set.

It's actually a terrible play, which only proves how remarkably bad at national politics Dems are. Running against Republicans should be very easy in the modern era.

Politics - if I have learned anything from this election - is the practice of telling lies to working people about the impact of your policy objectives on jobs, taxes, healthcare, and immigration in order to gain their support while knowing full well your real intentions do not have their best interests at heart. And apparently, if the Johnstown PA article is a barometer for the rest of GOP supporters- the voters don't care as long as you are picking fights with the other side.

And here you come bragging and gloating about being so good at such a contemptible situation. Shame on you, man. do better.

a Hillary voter complaining about telling lies, wtf?

Does the right have any response to anything other than "whataboutism?" It's seemingly applied willy nilly to everything these days.

Sure. We like the free market, personal responsibility, government with awareness of the actual provisions of the Constitution and individual liberty.

What kind of personal responsibility is Moore showing now?

Personal responsibility except for white rural voters. Individual liberty except for a bevy of social issues and a desire to criminalize so many behaviors Government that conforms with our tortured interpretation of the constitution.

I love these posts that sound like something you’d overhear at a high school young republicans meeting in the lunchroom after school.

Genuinely curious, are you for ending mass incarceration?

If nothing else, I will give you guys points for loyalty to your talking points.

As long as we get to keep running against Democrats (and their ideas), I think we'll be fine.

and here we all thought you weren't a republican

Yes because pointing out that a group of people's beliefs that primarily benefit white people on myriad topics might have some underlying racial undertone - or at the least create disproportionate outcomes based on race - is racist.

FOH with that garbage.

the Right absolutely courted nazis and other far right elements to win the presidency. sorry but your party sucks

They also at least explored the possibility of getting help from Russians. An unbelievably narrow victory and they may have cheated to get it.
