Ongoing Dem Debacle Thread: Commander will kill us all

Ongoing Dem Debacle Thread: is "Debacle" strong enough?

I don’t understand what is so confusing to you. Bro = men.

I don’t see how you don’t understand the last sentence as it specifically referenced what came before it. Fear of a woman President is pretty damn toxic.

And you keep leaving out those who stayed home or voted for someone other than Trump or Hillary -- which all in is more than 20% of Bernie voters. Is that just the old racists who were attracted to Bernie for some reason?

I havent referenced it because it's so normal and expected that it's not relevant to talk about:

'16 Bernie primary voters: 20% voted against Clinton, 3% didnt vote in general

'08 Clinton primary voters: 25% against Obama, 5% didn't vote.

Party Primary voters are never married to the primary winner. Never. For either party. No matter the election.

Of course it's relevant to talk about -- the idiots were partly responsible for giving us Trump. Thankfully the idiots in 2008 did not have that same affect -- but it was much more forgivable to vote for McCain (or abstain or vote for someone else) than for Trump. (Unless you want to provide the meta BS argument that all Presidents are bad so McCain would have been bad in the same way Trrump and Obama are bad, blah, blah ....)

I can guarandamntee you right now that the 2020 Dem primary winner won't receive more than 80-85% of their primary opponents voter support. It wont happen.

Way to go out on a limb. MDMH

I guarandamntee that Trump won’t receive more than 10% of Democratic votes in the 2020 election.

I guarandamntee that whoever wins the Democratic primary will not satisfy the M&M Caucus.

If only the boards hatred of Trump were shared nationally. Sorry bro, Trump wasnt special enough to break the mathematical expectation of voter defection.

I guarandamntee that RJ and MHB will never agree on anything of political substance. It won’t hapoen.

I'm sure you are right, and those people will be partly to blame for Trump getting re-elected, which is all I have been arguing.

If those numbers are correct, those who changed from Bernie to Trump in PA would have been enough to flip the state-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Pennsylvania_Democratic_primary

https://www.google.com/search?sourc.....0....1..gws-wiz.....0..0i131j38.eqXIx7Bqu3Y

A 10% difference would have been in excess of 73K votes...Trump won PA by 68,000.

WI:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Wisconsin_Democratic_primary

https://www.google.com/search?ei=oW...2......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71.A94qdW7ev6Q

10% would have been about 57K votes. Trump won by 27K

MI:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Michigan_Democratic_primary

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_United_States_presidential_election_in_Michigan

10% of Bernie primary voters would have been 59K, Trump won by 12K

If the 10% number is correct, Bernie Bros voting Trump put him in the WH.

Or do numbers only count if they prove what you want them to prove?

This is just such brain dead political analysis.

Unless it's Bernie, you are probably right. I'm a socialist. Why should I be happy with a centrist? This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore, and should not be so contentious. It doesn't mean I won't vote for them.

Stop being disingenuous. This is not what you are arguing. Again, there is a distinct difference between saying "this demographically diverse group that didn't vote for candidate x is at fault for them losing" and saying "bernie bros are at fault for Trump winning." You are using the not very informative former claim and using it to justify a different claim, one that you have trouble supporting.

The numbers don't prove what you think they prove because you don't understand statistics.

I'm not having trouble supporting shit -- I said "Bernie Bros and DSA helped give us the racist asshat Trump". They did. You have not shown they did not. You and MDMH just tried to change the argument. Take the L and move on.

You didn’t prove that they did. You are the one making the claim with shoddy data that doesn’t prove your claim.
