Catamount himself said they were credible, so presumably he meant to link an article that demonstrates how credible the accusations are rather than post an article that just says "Here are some questions and we couldn't answer."

As for Kavanaugh, there is a non-zero probability that an attempted rapist was nominated and confirmed to the Supreme Court and you think it's funny. Conservative America is such a shitshow.

Really hoping for Warren, Harris, or Gillibrand lead a coup against Schumer. It would be a mercy killing before AOC primaries him.

Republicans already have resources. They used the children as pawns and sold this story that they lacked resources to dupe the Dems into approving more funding.
 
The old guard Democrats just don’t have the stomach for the fight. They either cannot or refuse to recognize that the GOP will lie, cheat, steal, do whatever to get their agenda across the line, and Schumer/Pelosi and co. are only willing to stand up to the GOP for so long before they start worrying that they look bad. They just don’t get it.

Schumer, in particular, just seems woefully out of place in modern Senate politics. If he were a majority or minority leader back in the 70s or 80s he would probably do a fine job, but his approach to politics is now out of date and frankly, useless. There is almost no one on the GOP side to negotiate or compromise or strike deals with, especially in the GOP leadership positions. The goal of modern congressional politics appears to be to never compromise with the other side, but to win the majority and ram through your bills with no input whatsoever from the other side, and then gloat and rub the other side's noses in the dirt when you get your bills passed over their opposition. Old-school pols like Schumer are simply unequipped to deal with that approach. And my guess is that he'll never get it. Even if the Dems take over the Senate in 2020, he'll probably waste valuable time fruitlessly trying to bring Republicans on board for Democratic bills, or cutting deals with them that they promptly break, or catering to their demands. He just doesn't get it, at least not anymore.
 
All the more reason why the senators who don’t win for President need to use their momentum to challenge Schumer.

Agreed. Whether the Dems win a Senate majority or not in 2020, Schumer as Minority/Majority Leader needs to go. They need a fighter in that position, not an old-school compromiser.

Nah. The US had open borders in the 1800s. They want to freeze time in the 50s before the civil rights movement, sexual revolution, and women’s lib - back when everyone had a healthy mistrust of foreigners.
