Rejecting words and actions which perpetrate, support or encourage white supremacists

Where are Trump's tweets about this?

My bad neo-Nazis beating up people in the streets with bats, clubs and brass knuckles. They voted for Trump. So, he shuts up.

How come they had tanks, water cannons, tear gas, etc., in Charlotte, Ferguson, B'more but the VA State Police are basically standing idle here?

Good Facebook post from a friend about this:

As surprised as many people are at last night's events in Charlottesville and the rally planned for today, the belief in white supremacy never died down or went away. 1600s, 1700s, 1800s, 1900s, 2017 and counting. It transformed, but the goals are still the same. That white supremacists chose UVA and Jefferson as their meeting place and symbol of America is no coincidence. That many see hoods as no longer needed, but continue to embrace swastikas, and symbols of the Confederacy as appropriate to wear along with red Trump hats is no coincidence either. These white supremacists don't wear hoods because they feel safe, perhaps safer than in many recent decades, but that safety is something protesters of what these people believe have never felt. These are your neighbors. Your bankers and accountants. Your car salesmen and local restaurant owners. These are not fringe people, but your community members. This is how prevalent white supremacy continues to be today.

From twitter it looks like it's gotten pretty intense today including with police intervention and a state of emergency has been declared.

Unfortunate that your friend's community is full of inbred rednecks I guess, cause that's what these people look like. Your friend should move.

Lots of Republicans and Dems voicing their outrage...Trump and Sessions are totally silent. Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Every person who is on a video hitting another person with a bat or a club or kicked them while they were down or even brass knuckles should found, arrested and charge with assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. They should all go to jail for a lot of years.

Finally a tweet...not even enough balls to get in front of a camera...nice leadership!!!

I haven't been following this too closely. Two questions:

1) Is only one side allowed to protest things that are happening in the country which they don't like?

2) How many businesses have the white protestors burned or looted so far?
