Props to Wolford

Always thought John could do the job, if the offensive line gave him a chance. Props to the hogs as well!
 
How many Wake players have ever put up 6 TD's in a game?
 
I've been very critical of that kid but my god, he has had his ass kicked for a while and just kept getting back up and fighting. What a damn player!
 
John played through a leaky o-line that left him running for his life every game.
He played through injury.
He played through losing his starting job without complaining or causing dissension.

And now he's playing at a level that has us all shaking our heads in disbelief.

So very happy that he's a Deac and is able to shine in his senior season.

Dude took so many hits his first couple years too. Really glad he can have a senior season like this.
 
So proud of this guy! If only the rest of us could utilize our personal skills and resources to the same extent as Wolford...whoa!

Per the AP:
Wolford was 25-of-38 for 363 yards passing and he rushed for 136 more, the first 100-plus-yard game rushing in his career. He has accounted for 69 touchdowns in his career, shattering the school record of 65.

WOW. Didn't realize that. Atta boy, John. Another 3 games to go.
 
It started with the bowl game. ASU is the only game since then where he hasn’t been sharp and he was pretty good in the second half of that game.

Hopefully the national media gives him some props during the wrap up shows tonight. 6 total TDs is the top today by 2.

He personally accounted for 499 offensive yards and six touchdowns overall. Wake Forest QBs aren't supposed to do that.
