UF student president faces impeachment over Trump Jr. visit

Those behind the effort say Murphy conspired with an official for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign to bring Donald Trump Jr. and Trump campaign adviser Kimberly Guilfoyle to campus for speeches on Oct. 10.

Questions have been raised about the legality of the visit, as Murphy agreed to pay the pair $50,000 in publicly funded student activity fees and the law says public funds cannot be used to support political campaigns.

It's been long while, but I remember reading an article that said Trump was far less popular among officers in nearly every branch of the armed forces than he was with the rank-and-file (and even there his support varied.) It had some interviews with former officers, who said that Trump was often despised among many officers.
 
Republicans love that shit. A soldier killing a Muslim girl in a flower hijab puts a smile on those asshole’s faces. That’s why they support these pardons and the evil white nationalist administration behind them. It helps them sleep better at night. They think that punk soldier protected their freedom.
 
Republican “leaders” have been ceding higher moral ground for decades while inflaming and pretending a dishonorable and false morality and patriotism.

Now I think they’ve lost the ability to care or distinguish truth or good.

Thus they follow and support abhorrent Trump.
