2017 NASCAR Thread - Truex, KyB, Harvick & Kes for all the marbles

The Legend has only led 8 out of 3,042 laps this year....and all of those laps were in the first race of the year at Daytona, nearly three months ago. He hasn't led a single lap in the last 8 races. If The Legend is going to win a race he is going to have to find a way to lead a lap first.

You know, not to be a nit-picker, but one would think that a Legend would lead more than 8 out of 3,042 laps in nine races....and have more than one finish better than 14th in those nine races. That seems to be setting the bar kind of low for Legend status.

Hope Danica enjoyed the victory lane celebration. Unless Ricky lucks into another win, it'll be the last time she's there.
 
Ole June Bug showed why some of those fellas (Junior!) truly are world class athletes yesterday. Those moves he pulled were honestly unbelievable.

Buddy Baker was interviewed after a superspeedway race in which he drove through a smoke screen full of wrecked cars. The comentator praised his skillful driving...Buddy's response "it's amazing what you can do with your brakes locked up and your eyes closed"



You can't do anything to "miss" a wreck like that. You are either in the right place or in the wrong place. You can't make a move in one or two seconds right behind a wreck while traveling 200 MPH. Buddy Baker knew that....and so does Dale Earnhardt Jr and anyone else who knows anything at all about racing.

ETA: If The Legend wants to "pull some moves" he could start by trying to finish inside the top 20 in a race, for a change.
 
lol ole June Bug is hall of fame and that moves he pulled in Degashowes how awesome and old school he is. You can't teach that talent it's only from talent and hard work and awesome! If you don't believe it we shall see how dem ratings do when Junior retires. Rip NASCAR! Errybody knows hes awesome except the jealous hater who are sadly fans of other drivers and jealous. Good news your drivers may have chance next year! Lol and that's the bottom line 1! If you too ignorant to get dat den cash me ousside how bow dah! Served!
 
Awful wreck. Cut the top off of Almirola's car and put him on a back brace. Airlifting him to the hospital.
 
Compression fracture to the T5 vertebra. He has been released from the hospital.
