From a macro perspective it's abundantly clear what Donald is doing: discrediting anyone who has power to undermine him (which just so happen to be institutional norms serving as checks on the power of the executive).
1. Any negative coverage is fake news - can't be trusted. Undermines the role of the Fourth Estate by attacking its credibility. Information coming from Donald and his cabal is the only true, reliable information.
2. Investigations by lifelong law enforcement and civil servants into any allegations of wrongdoing. They're liars with an agenda acting in their own interests to maintain the deep state's stranglehold on America where the bureaucracy and administrative state are the real power pushers in Washington. We can't trust anything they say because they're doing it solely to save their own skin. Again, the information coming from Donald and his cabal is the only true, reliable information.
3. Attacking the judiciary by accusing them of being in on the deep state witch hunt. Undermining credibility in the branch of government which traditionally has the highest approval ratings of the three with the public. Attacking the judiciary for partisan bias so that any negative rulings against his administration can be spun, again as, wait for it....fake news where Donald and his cabal possess the only real information.
To figure out how Donald will react (and therefore rubes who buy into him will react - and make no mistake, these are one and the same - if you buy into the fiction that Donald is peddling you're a rube) all you have to do is see if the individual, entity, or group could, in any way, pose a threat to Donald's ability to consolidate power in an authoritarian manner so he can wield more individual influence. The byproduct of this is a consistent attempt to subvert America's democratic institutional norms. Meanwhile roughly 40% of the country, including rubes like Moonz, Sailor, and TheReff are buying in hook line and sinker like a bunch of naive little boys. It's sad.
