That's not really a break down. I do agree that there are a lot more media sources. But I don't understand what you disagree with beyond that? Do you not think there is a conservative echo chamber that started in the 80s?

What's not to understand? The national media went so far left that by the 1980s efforts to balance it's leftist distortions began at first with talk radio, then later with Fox and others. Now, there are many more sources and choices, and so the leftist dystopian disinformation campaign is fortunately doomed. It's audience is shrinking into increasing insignificance, and their persistent bias has led to a complete undermining of confidence in their reporting.

So the 80s media was so far left. What did the "far left" 80s media get so wrong? How do you know the 80s media wasn't balanced and the "balance" in talk radio and Fox News wasn't far right?
